22 September World Rhino Day celebrated


World Rhinoceros Day is celebrated every year on September 22 to commemorate the five rhinoceros species of the world and the challenges they face. This special day provides an opportunity for cause-related organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), zoos and public spaces to celebrate in their own unique ways.

About World Rhino Day
In 2010, the World Wildlife Fund-South Africa announced that it would celebrate World Rhino Day on September 22 every year since then.
