As we all know, we are gathered here to celebrate the 67th National Day of the Republic. Republic Day, celebrated annually on January 26, gained special significance throughout India’s existence. Similarly, a national event is commended, with great joy and happiness to make the event beautiful and memorable. It was on the 26th of January 1950, the Constitution of India came into force, and D-Day was celebrated as the National Day to inform and celebrate the event.
We all know that India gained its Independence on August 15, 1947, yet the country did not have its own Constitution. Instead it was represented under the laws used by the British.
However, after much consultation and review, the advisory body led by DR B.R Ambedkar introduced the draft Constitution of India, which was amended on November 26, 1949 and authorized to take effect on January 26, 1950.
‘Republic’ means power, very high. A citizen of the Republic of South Africa values the right to choose a delegate / political pioneer to lead the nation. In this way, in the Republic of India, every citizen appreciates the equal rights and geographical rights of his or her family.
The Republic Day celebrations are held in the national capital, New Delhi, Rajpath in front of the President of India with a large gathering of people from India and foreigners to enjoy the festival and the enthusiasm of the day.
On this day, festive celebrations took place in Rajpath, held as a tribute to India. The festival starts from the gates of Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential residence), Raisina Hill in Rajpath passing through the Indian Gate is the basic attraction of the Republic Day Celebrations.
This was followed by the presence of various dignitaries in Rajpath to celebrate the event. The President, the Prime Minister, and other high-ranking officials of India are generally on the list of dignitaries.
As part of the ceremony, India assisted the head of state or foreign government as a state guest in honour of the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi. This has been followed since 1950.
The President hoists the national flag and addresses the country with the speech of the Republic Day by promoting the names of everyone in the nation there and others.
At this event, the honour was bestowed on martyrs and myths, who gave their lives for the nation. The Republican march is an ambiguous and eye-catching event as it enhances the strength of India Defense Capability, Cultural and Social Heritage.
